Ipsos Update – July 2023

Generative AI, equality, refugees… Ipsos Update explores the latest and greatest research & thinking on key topics from Ipsos teams around the world.

In the first Ipsos Update edition of 2023, we reflected on the new ‘polycrisis’ era we were emerging into. Now, at the midpoint of the year, this seems truer than ever, with uncertain economic conditions, the climate crisis and geopolitical turmoil just a some of the crises feeding into the turbulent environment we find ourselves in.

Against this backdrop, in this edition we explore global public opinion on support for refugees, views on same-sex marriage and parenting, changing norms surrounding gender and gender-based issues, and new research into how to address inequality on the basis on race, gender, sexual orientation and neurodiversity.

We also explore the new opportunities offered by pairing qualitative research with Generative AI models, how inflation has affected – or hasn’t affected – global holiday plans, and place a spotlight on how France is responding to today’s polycrisis in our latest Ipsos Flair.

We also travel the globe to explore the latest findings from Ipsos in different countries; take a look at a selection below:
