The Ipsos Innovation Team presents a series of four different innovation events with our eye on the four continents, called: ‘How Brands Innovate'.

Six Fingers – Rob Adams

Rob Adams is the founder of Six Fingers. Six Fingers helps organisations to actually realize innovation. Six Fingers' many years of research into innovations worldwide provides a profound understanding of innovaton and how to shape this process.

For those who want to learn from other companies, categories, cultures or continents, Rob shares his view on several learnings and developments from innovation in Africa. Also Rob will bring an interesting surprise!

Philips – Ank van Ophoven

As Market Intelligence Manager at Philips Lighting Ank is responsible for Global Consumer Insights and has ample experience in conducting innovation research in Africa, both in exploring consumers and markets as in scouting innovation opportunities.

Especially in consumer understanding Ank has conducted ethnographic research herself in countries like Uganda, Nigeria and Tanzania. She will present and illustrate her experiences and learnings.

Heineken – Codruta Berbecaru

Codruta is Consumer & Market Insights Manager at Heineken International – Global Commerce, responsible for Africa & Middle East Region. She is responsible for driving organizational understanding on how initiatives impact portfolio, creating business and consumer value across AMEE Region.

Africa has been an important growth market for Heineken. Codruta’s view will be on the developments and emerging trends  in the African continent and how these impacted Heineken’s initiatives to remain a consumer-centric organisation.

Ipsos - Mazimba Fortune Ngandu

Simba is Associate Director Marketing at Ipsos in Lagos, Nigeria. He is specialized in developmental research in Africa. He has been engaged in helping clients in the African innovation space, using his expertise in a.o. market exploration, segmentation and product/service innovation.

Although Simba is a Nigerian native he is connected to the Netherlands by family and lives therefore in both worlds. He is familiar with both innovation perspectives/’glasses’.
