Impact of AI on Canadians Investing Behaviour

Watch our recorded webinar to hear strategic insights into the demographics, preferences and behaviours of online investors (both self-directed and robo-advisor users).

The investment landscape in Canada is constantly evolving due to the increasing presence of online investors. Presently, more than one in four Canadians have an online brokerage account, and one in ten have opted for robo-advisors, a specialized type of online investment platform. While a majority of online investors prefer self-directed accounts, the younger generations are notably more acquainted and at ease with AI investing platforms.

Over the next six years, the combined forces of Gen Z and Millennials will outnumber the Boomer investors. Therefore, gaining insights into online investors, encompassing both self-directed and robo-advisor users, becomes crucial for financial institutions seeking to cater to these shifting demographics.
