Ipsos Ireland Omnipoll asked 1,000 adults aged 15+ to recall an advertisement they have seen or heard recently anywhere. You can download the PDF version of the chart below.
Guinness was the most recalled ad in January, the Brandshout poll shows. The stout brand moved up from fourth place in December, followed by Lidl, Dunnes Stores and Aldi, with Coke and SuperValu sharing fifth spot.

Diageo’s flagship stout brand Guinness topped the latest BrandShout ad recall survey for July with German discounter Aldi in second place

The top five brand recall is dominated by grocery retailers. Aldi jumps up five places to claim the top spot, pushing Lidl down one to second position. M&S is a new comer in third followed by Dunnes Stories and Vodafone at joint fourth

Lidl holds steady at the top spot for the October BrandShout. Vodafone jump two places to second position while Guinness drop one to third. Bank of Ireland up three to fourth position and Virgin Media remains at fifth.

Lidl moves up one to the top spot for September brand recall followed my Guinness in second, a six place jump from eight position in August. Aldi drops one to third position. Vodafone falls to fourth as Virgin Media moves up to fifth position.
