Parijat Chakraborty, Group Service Line Leader, Public Affairs & Corporate Reputation, Ipsos India, has been elected to the management committee of the MRSI for 2022-2024, at the 34th AGM of the Market Research Society of India (MRSI), held on July 7th, 2022, in Mumbai.

Speaking on the appointment, Parijat Chakraborty, said, “Ipsos is among the top 3 market research firms globally and in India. As a management committee member representing Ipsos, my endeavour will be to contribute in enhancing processes and benchmarks in elevating the status of market research in client delivery and attracting and harnessing of the right talent for the industry. The Market Research Society of India (MRSI), announced the formation of the Managing Committee for the tenure of 2022-2024. Manish Makhijani, Global Insights Director of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. has been elected as the President and Parijat Chakraborty was elected as a member of the core management committee, apart from the other members from the client side and research firms. The focus of MRSI would be to build on the momentum it has created in the last few years and focus on building a stronger network where all the members can benefit from each other, building a talent pipeline in the industry and instilling a sense of pride in the work being done.
The management committee has always worked together for the betterment of the industry and clients. Like during the pandemic the industry stepped up to adopt hybrid methods of data collection and the field staff was compensated after their remuneration was impact due to lockdowns and restrictions.
