Ipsos Netherlands appoints Istvan Hajnal as Insights Director for the audience measurement data team

The arrival of Istvan Hajnal reshapes the Ipsos data science and analytics team in the Netherlands by introducing a dedicated audience measurement data team

Istvan Hajnal will lead the Ipsos Audience Measurement data team in the Netherlands. He will be involved in our two major audience measurement surveys: Nationaal Media Onderzoek (NMO) and the international Affluent Surveys. This new team is a valuable addition to the existing data science and analytics team, which focuses on data analytics and innovations for the entire organization. Istvan Hajnal will work closely with this team and with the global Audience Measurement data team.
 
Istvan holds a master's degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in social sciences. He started his research career at the universities of Diepenbeek and Leuven, before moving to The Nielsen Company, first as a senior statistician, and later as Head of Statistics Northern Europe. Finally, he took on an international role as VP of Global Statistics Training COE. After a brief interlude, he was asked by GfK to lead the Marketing & Data Sciences team of GfK Belgium in 2015.
