Ipsos conducted a survey among Ukrainian citizens for The Economist

Conducted monthly in 29 countries among a panel of over 20,000 adults for more than a decade, What Worries the World survey offers an exceptional snapshot of world opinion on pressing global issues.

This research, conducted by Ipsos in Switzerland for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), explores the plans, perspectives and intentions of Ukrainian refugees across Europe, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) within Ukraine.

A global country average of 74% of people, in the 29 countries surveyed, agreed in principle that people should be able to take refuge in other countries, including their own, to escape war or persecution.

In five infographics, we dive deeper into the impact the invasion is having on everything from consumer confidence to concerns about another world conflict.

Despite some softening, support for Ukraine is still strong across western countries.
