HoReCa Beverage Landscape in Romania – Third edition

Ipsos launches the third edition of the syndicated HoReCa Beverage Landscape survey, which monitors out-of-home consumption habits and assesses the pandemic impact on these habits.

Since its premiere in 2018, the HoReCa Beverage Landscape in Romania survey has been closely following the trends in out-of-home consumption for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages – from water, soft drinks and coffee and up to beer, cider, wine and spirits – as well as foods & snacks, which usually accompany the consumption of beverages. The survey is a valuable resource for owners and managers in the HoReCa industry, FMCG manufacturers, journalists and all those interested in finding more about the dynamics of this channel.

In the pandemic context, the survey conducted by Ipsos highlights two major conclusions regarding the going-out habits of Romanians. On one hand, there is a significant decrease in the going-out frequency to HoReCa locations (-10% compared with the pre-pandemic period). On the other, despite certain differences, the Romanian consumers show similar behaviours to the times before the pandemic, with regards to the list of top beverages, locations and occasions.

declares Amelia Podariu, Senior Client Director with Ipsos in Romania and the coordinator of this edition.

The reports for the three editions of HoReCa Beverage Landscape (2021, 2019, 2018) are available upon request, for a competitive budget. At the same time, there is the option to conduct dedicated analyses aimed at specific objectives.
Please contact us for more details regarding the methodology, target and analytics. The survey is also available for the Bulgarian market.
