Spotlight*KSA: Predictions 2022
In this Spotlight*KSA report, we asked Saudi residents about their outlook for 2022 covering various topics including vaccination, travel, lifestyle and finances.
6 out of 10 in Saudi Arabia believe that more than 80% of the global population will receive at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in 2022. They are also optimistic about travel, as only 3 out of 10 believe that people will fly less in 2022 than they did in 2019, ranking amongst the top 3 most optimistic countries across the globe.
When it comes to life as we know it, only 60% of Saudi residents believe that City Centers in their country will become busy again, as people get back to working in offices on regular basis, ranking below the global country average of 71%. However, only 3 in 10 say that more people will live their lives in virtual worlds, also raking among the bottom 5 countries globally.
Financially, Saudi residents are more optimistic than the global population, 45% say that prices in their country will increase faster than people's incomes, a relatively low number compared to the global average (75%). Also, almost 8 out of 10 are confident that the global economy will be stronger in 2022 than it was in 2021, ranking among the top 3 countries globally.
On a personal level, 9 out of 10 Saudi residents are optimistic that 2022 will be a better year for them than 2021. Whereas, 82% will make personal resolutions to do some specific things for themselves or others in 2022.
