A crisis such as the current COVID-19 pandemic provides impetus for rapid change in consumer attitudes and behaviour as people cope with the changes in their environment. 80% report a loss of income due to crisis in the region and there is widespread concern if further restrictions are imposed in the region. Certain sectors such as travel and entertainment have taken a strong hit, while others such as household groceries and cleaning have benefited from this crisis, especially if the set up includes selling online.
