10 most influential brands in Thailand

Ipsos revealed the 10 most influential brands in Thailand that 8 of top 10 most influential brands fall within the information technology sector, which includes the internet and smartphones. Only 2 strong retail brands, 7-Eleven and Tesco Lotus are in the Top Ten.

Gordon Milne, Managing Director of Ipsos in Thailand, explains “Brands play a critical role for real people in real life. They give products and services meaning and significance far beyond the functional. Great brands engage and resonant emotionally. They have meaning, personality and attitude. When it comes to asking which brand is the most trustworthy, has the most presence or is most engaging, the answer can be a very personal one. This is because real people in real life increasingly identify with, relate to and define themselves by brands and that gives us something meaningful to measure: influence.”
