A message from Usana Chantarklum - Managing Director, Ipsos Thailand
We’re nearing the finish line for 2023. This year certainly has been tumultuous and one really none of us could have envisaged. In our Year in Review newsletter – Understanding Asia, our Ipsos experts share some of their latest research from across the globe and we look back at the events of 2023, how consumers and citizens have reacted and reflect on what’s next in 2024.
Despite 2023 being a difficult year, 77% of Thais think 2024 will be a better year, according to our latest Global Predictions for 2024. Around half Thais express optimism regarding the local economy and personal finances in the coming months, and most now feel more comfortable in major purchases, job security, and future investments as compared to the beginning of the year.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership this year. As we step into the New Year, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We look forward to forging stronger relationships, discovering new insights, and helping your businesses reach unprecedented heights in 2024.
