Vehicle owners in South Africa continue to enjoy top class levels of customer service for both the buying and servicing experience they get from local franchised dealers together with relevant vehicle manufacturers or distributors. This is evident from the latest edition of an annual customer (experience?) survey conducted by global research company, Ipsos, the third-largest global research company.

After holding steady for three consecutive months, the average global economic assessment of national economies surveyed in 28 countries is up one point this wave with 48% of global citizens rating their national economies as ‘good’.

Johannesburg, July 5, 2018 – ILLEGAL cigarettes costing as little as R5 per pack are now available for sale in more than 100,000 shops all across South Africa, according to a major new study released today.
And more than one third of cigarettes in ‘non-organised’ shops – which account for almost 80% of all tobacco sales – are being sold for well below the government’s R17.85 minimum in tax payable.
The Ipsos Study is the most robust scientific analysis of the multi-billion-rand illegal cigarette market ever carried out in South Africa. It has been peer-reviewed and independently validated.

Global awareness of cyberbullying is increasing, however 1 in 4 adults globally have still never heard of it. In South Africa, 88% report being aware of it and almost three-quarters of South Africans believe that anti-bullying measures are insufficient.
Even though SA is not participating this year, almost eight in every 10 (78%) South Africans with internet access have indicated that they are aware of its starting later this week in Russia
