Canadian Marketing Association Awards Gala

Ipsos is proud of Steve Levy, Canada’s Chief Client Officer, who received the Canadian Marketing Association’s 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award on November 19. The Gala is Canada’s premiere event recognizing the country’s best in class marketers, with more than 1,300 having registered to attend the immersive experience built exclusively for this year’s virtual celebration.

Steve launched his career in the UK before coming to Canada in the 1980s with firms that became NPD Group Canada. He led that business as president through its sale to Ipsos in 2001. At Ipsos, he grew the Marketing, Loyalty/CX and Qualitative groups and led the Most Influential Brand (MIB), Cause Marketing, Brand Heart and Digital Marketing Pulse initiatives.

He has championed the profession through leadership and board roles in the CMA, the Marketing Research & Intelligence Association in Canada, and CASRO. He’s also been a volunteer and board member with Earth Rangers, a children’s environmental conservation organization. 

Leaders across Ipsos and Canada’s marketing industry honoured him with an array of video tributes. They called out his curiosity, vision, public speaking, and his expansive eyeglass collection.
