The 5 key issues facing women working in the G20: Canada
According to a new study conducted by Ipsos Global@dvisor on behalf of Thompson Reuters Foundation, four in 10 Canadian women say men have better career opportunities than they do and 42% say men have better access to jobs.
The issue most concerning women in Canada is equal pay to men with 49% citing this as their major worry followed by work-life balance at 48% and having the same career opportunities as men at 32%. When asked about harassment, a third of Canadian women, said they had faced harassment by co-workers with in-person and online, and 26% of these would always or mostly report this.
