Canadians are going into 2014 with their most positive ratings on the condition of the national economy, their local economy, and their personal finances in the past four years. The various "scandals" in Canadian politics that have received significant media attention recently have been noticed by the public, and corruption has emerged to challenge healthcare and unemployment/jobs on top of the list of national issue priorities facing the country. An increasing proportion of online Canadians are actively engaged in public policy, political and social issues.
