Gerben Huijgen Country Manager Ipsos I&O Netherlands

On January 8, 2024, Ipsos and I&O Research merged to form Ipsos I&O.  For the past year, Daan Versteeg and Gerben Huijgen served as joint Country Managers. Ipsos Global management has now announced that Gerben Huijgen is the sole Country Manager of Ipsos I&O Netherlands.

"We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gerben Huijgen as Country Manager in the Netherlands. Gerben will oversee the business of Ipsos I&O in the Netherlands. Daan Versteeg, who has led the Netherlands over the past 5 years, will step down as Country Manager in the Netherlands.

With more than 25 years of experience and as the co-founder of I&O Research, which merged with Ipsos this year to form Ipsos I&O, Gerben is the leader of the Public Affairs market in the Netherlands. He has continued to honour this role further at Ipsos I&O with a successful year in Public Affairs in 2024. 

Daan and Gerben have successfully led the integration to One team and One voice in the market.  It is now time to take the next step and work to One leadership.
