The latest Ipsos Global Trustworthiness Index report has been released, and we have learnt who New Zealanders trust the most, trust the least, and how we compare with other countries.

These are the findings of an international survey conducted by Ipsos between 26 May and 9 June 2023, based on an international sample of 22,816 adults aged 18 years and older across 31 countries.

 

In New Zealand, doctors remain the most trustworthy profession, followed by teachers and scientists. Politicians, ad executives and government ministers were judged the least trustworthy.   One profession was rated trustworthy by more New Zealanders than in any of the other 30 countries studied - download the report to find out who New Zealanders trust so much.
