Almost half (47%) say they spend more time socializing online than in person, particularly younger adults, yet face-to-face interactions remain valued.

Beyond social media, digital services are deeply embedded in everyday life, from food delivery and mobile banking to streaming and health tracking. Adoption is especially high among younger and higher-income groups, who also lead in the use of advanced tools like smart home devices and AR/VR experiences.

When it comes to trends, most take a cautious approach, preferring to join once innovations become mainstream, while about 1 in 8 identify as early adopters. Attitudes toward technology are nuanced: 45% see it as essential for societal progress, while 4 in 10 express concerns about its impact on relationships and a similar share feel nostalgic for life before the digital era.
