We live in wonder: most agree we need modern technology to solve future problems. But we also worry: 56% think technical progress is destroying our lives - a feeling that has significantly risen over a ten-year period. We have very real concerns about our mental health and careers and don’t always see the benefits of technology or tech companies. How it’s evolved: Technology itself has evolved, driven by surging AI investment. Opinion, however, is much slower to move, so this trend and its underlying tension persist. |  |
