Inflation Top Concern For Canadians, Conservatives Seen As Best To Handle It
Two in ten (20%) Canadians consider inflation their top concern and over a third (36%) think Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives are the best party to handle the issue.

Interest rates and inflation are the top concerns for Canadians, with one in five (20%) ranking it as the most important issue facing Canada today. Health care (14%) and housing (13%) round out the top three most pressing concerns for Canadians. Other top issues include the economy (11%), taxes (6%), climate change (5%), and poverty and social inequality (4%).
Pierre Poilievre and the Tories are viewed as best able to deal with inflation (36%) and housing (26%), while Jagmeet Singh’s NDP is seen as best to handle health care (25%). Canadians don’t see the current Liberal government as best to handle any of the top issues, underscoring why they are struggling in the popular vote horserace.
