Ipsos Experts Win Canadian Research Insights Council’s (CRIC) Excellence Awards in 2026

Ipsos Canada shines at the 2026 CRIC Conference with workshops, awards, and impactful collaborations!

Toronto, ON, June 16, 2026 – Ipsos, a leading market research company in Canada and globally, is proud to announce that it has won two Canadian Research Insights Council’s (CRIC) Excellence Awards in 2026, presented at CRIC’s Annual Conference & Gala event on June 16, 2026, in Toronto.

Ipsos received the Business Impact award for a collaborative project with Keurig Dr Pepper Canada focused on driving growth in the rapidly growing Ready-to-Drink Non-Alcohol Beverage category (aka ‘mocktails’). The project team, led by Ipsos’ Charles Leech (SVP, Ipsos Understanding Unlimited/Qual), and Shillpa Khandelwaal (Senior Director, Consumer Insights at Keurig Dr Pepper), utilized an innovative triangulated research approach combining syndicated data with custom semiotic research and consumer-facing qual to uncover actionable insights. This integrated methodology resulted in highly impactful research findings that are informing brand positioning, product innovation, and marketing execution, directly influencing Keurig Dr Pepper’s strategic decisions. By aligning insights with category dynamics and consumer understanding, the initiative helped strengthen KDP’s ability to accelerate growth and compete effectively in the burgeoning non-Alcoholic beverages market.

Ipsos was also recognized with the Public Sector Impact Award for The City of Calgary’s Fall 2025 Survey of Calgarians. This program, led by Jennifer Renny (Director, Ipsos Public Affairs) in close collaboration with The City of Calgary Team led by Bolu Adisa (Lead, Corporate Research), involves a highly integrated approach to municipal research. It combines methodological rigor with decision-ready insights, incorporating advanced driver analysis to understand not only how Calgarians perceive City performance, but why those perceptions form. Ward-level reporting provides geographical precision and uncovers meaningful differences at the local level, while an Equity Deserving Community (EDC) lens provides insight into a diverse range of community perspectives. By translating complex data into clear, actionable direction, the program demonstrates how innovative public sector research directly informs municipal strategy, strengthens accountability, and supports more responsive citizen-centered governance.
