Where does concern for poverty and social inequality sit on the global issue agenda? It ranks second behind only unemployment and jobs as one of the top issue concerns worldwide. Our latest Public Perspectives report turns the spotlight on global concern over poverty and social inequality across 24 countries. At the country level there are wide differences in the priority assigned to this issue. In Canada, poverty and social inequality has a long way to go to compete with other top priorities - healthcare, taxes and unemployment and jobs -- dominating Canadians' issue agenda.
