The 2015 Canadian Federal Election had the highest voter turnout in decades with over 17 million Canadians casting a ballot. After ten years of Stephen Harper's Conservatives, Canadians elected a Liberal majority government and Justin Trudeau to be the next Prime Minister. In this report, we look at what happened on Election Day, the role of social media during the campaign and expectations of the new government.
