Trend: Climate Convergence emerged from a period when attitudes towards climate change were moving closer together across much of the world, as concern rose alongside temperatures. That concern remains widespread today, but it is no longer growing as quickly; conditions still deteriorate and concern is high enough so as not to leave a lot of room for growth.

How it has TRANSFORMED: The public (70%) feel like they’re doing all they can to fight climate change themselves. Executives, however, feel the issue is divisive: just 21% of members of the 2025 Ipsos Reputation Council said they prefer to speak out on issues like climate. And against this backdrop, people increasingly expect organisations to help them adapt in practical ways.
