The Full Ipsos Global Trends Report | Trend: Many societies remain deeply fragmented, but the nature of those divisions continues to evolve. While long-standing debates around inequality and immigration remain powerful, new tensions are focused on identity, gender and social change. How it has CONSOLIDATED: While some divisions remain strong and persistent, new fissures are opening leading to bigger and more contentious splinters along social issues, not just economic or political. Ipsos’ International Women’s Day research found 44% across 29 countries agree that “We have gone so far in promoting women’s equality that we are discriminating against men”— rising to 53% of all men, and 57% of Gen Z men globally. |  |
