As part of a global survey conducted across 27 countries, nationals and expats residing in Saudi Arabia were asked about their position towards the Coronavirus vaccine.

Saudi Arabia came in as the second most optimistic country, after China, with 75% believing that there will be a vaccine available to them before the end of 2020. The vast majority (84%) are willing to get vaccinated one the vaccine is available, a result that is higher than global average (74%).

Those unwilling to take the vaccine were either concerned about its side effects or simply did not feel that they were at risk from Covid-19.
