Glenn Gottfried is a Research Manager in Public Affairs for Ipsos. He helps lead Political Monitor, our flagship monthly political survey, and contributed to our polling coverage for the 2015 and 2017 general elections as well as the 2016 EU referendum. In addition to working on our political research he has extensive experience in other policy areas such as attitudes towards immigration and public services while also leading several of our global surveys including the BBC’s Crossing Divides series. Based in our Manchester office, he also works on topics focusing on Northern issues ranging from transport to devolution.
Prior to starting at Ipsos, Glenn was a quantitative research fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research focusing on democratic reform and holds a PhD in politics from the University of Sheffield.
He has written for a number of blogs such as the Times Red Box and the New Statesman and has contributed to Ipsos’s annual Almanac. He also has broadcast media experience including BBC Radio and BBC Breakfast.
