The Path to Patient Centricity: Closing the 'How' Gap
Today, patient centricity is not only well documented in corporate visions and missions, it’s at the top of many pharmaceutical company agendas. Clearly, there is both a need for it and an appetite for it among those best placed to make it happen. The question that remains for pharma and biotechs is how best to be patient-centric.
In 2017, Ipsos joined forces with The Aurora Project – a non-profit group founded by eyeforpharma and Excellerate to move patient centricity from words to actions and outcomes. Together, we conducted a global research programme to understand just how patient-centric the industry thinks it is, and the key drivers and barriers to closing the ‘how’ gap.
The resulting paper – ‘The Path to Patient Centricity: Closing the How Gap’ – includes:
- Findings from research among 1,282 respondents including patients, HCPs and employees from biopharmaceutical and medical device companies
- Expert perspectives from senior managers of 10 of the world’s leading pharma companies
- Views from specialists in behaviour change and organisational psychology
- Conclusions from the healthcare research experts at Ipsos and Excellerate
