Mike Clemence, Associate Director, Trends And Futures, IpsosMike has worked at Ipsos since 2011 and is based in its Trends & Futures team. His focus is on social trends polling on values and trust, as well as political polling including the UK General election exit polls. Specialising in trends and issues-based research, he manages the Issues Index, Ipsos’s longest-running tracker poll, having been asked since 1974. He is involved in the global What Worries the World polling series and manages the Ipsos Global Trends survey, a unique global study that covers social and marketing trends across 26 countries worldwide.

Mike is also a part of the core political research team, specialising in exit polling, managing Ipsos’s contribution to the highly accurate exit polls at both the 2015 and 2017 UK General Elections.

Mike writes frequently about Ipsos’s research. He is the author of Signs of Success, the co-author of the Ipsos Millennial Myths and Realities and Beyond Binary reports into Millennials and Generation Z, is a regular contributor to the Ipsos Almanac and has also given interviews and had articles published in the UK and international press.
