Purpose + Mission
We offer a wide variety of solutions, which allows us to tailor our approach to the individual needs of each client. These include qualitative and quantitative research, process and impact evaluation, and secondary data analysis. These solutions allow us to understand:
- What drives business growth and productivity
- The challenges faced by different types of businesses, from SMEs, through to AI and tech businesses
- How to improve trade with other countries, and what businesses and the UK public think about this
- How UK organisations can help make the UK a clean energy superpower
We also frequently collaborate with Ipsos Public Affairs’ specialists in behavioural science, strategy and advisory work, communications research and testing, and international research.

Insights
We are currently working on various projects, which explore topics such as AI, cyber skills and economic crime. We also work on several evaluations, which currently include the AI Upskilling Fund, Made Smarter Adoption and Fast Start programme evaluations. Examples of topics covered in our recent work include:
- Sectoral analyses of the UK AI sector and the UK cyber security sector, assessing the size and growth of both sectors, as well as their contribution to the UK economy
- A mixed-methods study of economic crime (fraud, corruption, and money laundering) in UK businesses for the Home Office
- A mixed-methods study into how businesses use and transfer data, and comply with data protection laws and transfer data internationally
- Quantitative research to evaluate the Rent a Room Relief Scheme, assessing the prevalence and profiles of Rent a Room landlords and awareness of the scheme as a whole
- Qualitative research with traders and intermediaries looking to explore their views on the impact of border checks
- A quarterly report evaluating the Help to Grow: Management (HtGM) programme
