Ipsos in the UK has appointed Giulia Tagliaferri as Head of Behavioural Science within its Public Affairs team

Under Giulia's leadership, the aim is to enhance and broaden the reach of the existing Behavioural Science capabilities within Public Affairs in the UK.

The Behaviour and Social Change Hub collaborates closely with policymakers across the public sector to design and deliver research that is not only insightful but also actionable, thereby bridging the gap between policy and human behaviour.  Under Giulia's leadership, the aim is to enhance and broaden the reach of the existing Behavioural Science capabilities within Public Affairs in the UK, helping policy and communications teams both better understand behaviour and develop effective interventions.

Giulia Tagliaferri brings a wealth of experience from the Behavioural Insights Team, where she served as the Head of Evaluation. During her tenure, she was instrumental in aiding Civil Service clients in the design and evaluation of behavioural interventions. Her expertise is further acknowledged through her role on the Evaluation Task Force Advisory Panel, a select group that advises Civil Servants on the rigorous evaluation of policies.

Trinh Tu, Managing Director of Public Affairs in the UK, comments:

I’m excited to welcome Giulia to our Public Affairs team to further build and develop our behavioural science capabilities.  Her expertise in using data to diagnose behavioural barriers, intervention design and impact evaluation will help ensure our clients can effectively tackle tricky policy issues which are rooted in human behaviour.
