GP Patient Survey at 20: Understanding Patient Experience, Shaping the Future of Primary Care

01 October 2026 13:30
Thomas More Square
Ipsos, Thomas More Square, London

For 20 years, the GP Patient Survey (GPPS) has provided one of the most important and trusted sources of evidence on people's experiences of primary care in England. It has helped policymakers, NHS organisations, researchers, GP practices and patient groups understand what matters most to patients and how services can improve.

To mark this milestone, Ipsos and NHS England are bringing together leaders from across health and care for a special anniversary event exploring the impact of GPPS over the last two decades and the role of patient experience in shaping the future of primary care.
