April 15-21 saw the World Evidence, Pricing and Access (EPA) Congress take place virtually, featuring 150 speakers and over 1,000 attendees from pharma, biotech and HTAs.
Chris Teale - Ipsos' Senior Vice President of Market Access, Healthcare - delivered one of the most highly attended presentations of the Congress.
His session, 'Pricing and Access Challenges in the Absence of Data', focused on pricing and access barriers in rare diseases, oncology and gene therapies, all areas in which very limited data exist. He explored these issues in detail and pointed to potential solutions in the form of innovative data and financial engineering.
