Scottish Household Survey Bulletin No. 7 - Life Cycles

The seventh Scottish Household Survey Bulletin looking at differences in housing, economic activity and transport across age groups.

The seventh Scottish Household Survey Bulletin has been published today (7th March 2002).

This report provides results based on nationally representative data collected from almost 8,000 households during the first half of 2001.

Scottish Household Survey Bulletin No. 7- 'Life cycles': considers the differences and similarities between adults of different age groups. In particular, it looks at the composition of the population and the differences in economic activity, housing, access to and views of local services, neighbourhood issues and transport according to the age group of the respondent. The main age groups used in the analysis are 16-24, 25-44, 45-64, and 65 and over.
