In the Chancellor's new budget, a great deal of emphasis has been placed on the increasing number of over-50s leaving the workforce. This has led to a number of policies aimed at enticing this population back to work – including the much-lauded policies around raising the cap on interest free pension draw-down. Global happiness up six points since last year: 73% now say they are happy
Brits say are less happy than they were in December 2021 with 70% of participants saying they are very or rather happy while 83% said they were happy in December 2021 and 79% said they were happy in December 2011.
