The Summer Holiday: At Home; Going Away

The Nestleacute; Family Monitor is a series of research studies into family life in Britain undertaken on behalf of Nestleacute; by MORI. It is designed to examine attitudes to and perceptions of family life and how families in a Britain function approaching the millennium. Each wave of research addresses a core set of issues as well as a number of topical subjects. This summer, the monitor focused on the school summer holiday; at home and going away. Selected highlights from this summer holiday study are described below.

Reality Of Homelessness Close To Home For Britain's Youth

A MORI poll has revealed one in five (19%) adults personally knows or has known someone who has experienced homelessness. The survey, commissioned by the national charity for homeless people, Crisis, to mark its 30th anniversary finds this figure rises to nearly three in ten (28%) of young people, 15-24 years.
