Britons trust Celebrity Traitors contestants more than politicians
Ipsos has released new findings from its latest poll regarding the upcoming celebrity edition of 'The Traitors.'
Key findings
- Most recognised contestants: The poll reveals that among the GB adult population, the three most recognised contestants are Alan Carr, with 48% recognition, followed closely by Stephen Fry at 47%, and Jonathan Ross at 45%. Among female celebrities, Charlotte Church leads with 43% awareness, while Paloma Faith and Kate Garraway both follow behind at 40%.
- Predictions for victory: The public has tipped Stephen Fry as the most likely to win the show, with 12% considering him the frontrunner to succeed. However, half (50%) of Britons say that they are unsure which contestant might prevail.
- Trustworthiness: The survey also revealed a prevailing sentiment that celebrity contestants are considered more trustworthy than politicians. Significant examples include:
