Kent County Council Budget Workshop
Since 2007, Ipsos has carried out annual deliberative workshops on behalf of Kent County Council, exploring the public's priorities for council spending and where savings can best be made. This is an integral part of the council's budget setting process.
The immediate future will be a particularly difficult time for public finances, and local councils, as well as national government, are faced with the challenge of delivering services with a significantly reduced budget. Councils have to make tough choices as to where their spending should be prioritised and taking residents’ view into account is crucial to this.
