Economic issues continue to be seen as the160most important issue160facing Scotland today, mentioned by 43% of respondents in the November wave of our quarterly tracking survey, up by 7% from August.
Related to this,160unemployment is mentioned by mentioned by 39% of Scots,160 up 2% from August. Concern about schools and the NHS both fell slightly from August but were still mentioned by 36% and 20% respectively.
Issues of crime and law & order are lower down the list of important issues, mentioned by 9%, down by 7% from August, possibly reflecting the fall in officially recorded crime announced in September.
