Pensions Research 'One Month Countdown'
Ipsos, on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions, conducted research to ascertain the views of those approaching retirement, or already retired, in terms of the perceived optimum time to retire, awareness of the benefits available and attitudes to retirement.
Ipsos, on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions, conducted research via Capibus, Ipsos's weekly GB face to face omnibus survey. The objective was to ascertain the views of those approaching retirement, or already retired, in terms of the perceived optimum time to retire, awareness of the benefits available and attitudes to retirement.
Technical details:
A total of 1,196 adults (716 men aged 50-65 and 480 women aged 50-60) were interviewed face-to-face over three survey waves in GB. Fieldwork was conducted between 11th September and 1st October 2009.
