Technical Details

  1. A nationally representative quota sample of 1,059 British adults aged 16+ was interviewed throughout Great Britain on the Ipsos Omnibus. Interviews were carried out by telephone between the 9th - 11th October 2009. Data have been weighted to reflect the known national population profile.
  2. These are compared to 2005 data obtained on behalf of the British Bankers' Association: 500 interviews with the general public, conducted by telephone, between 22nd September and 11th October 2005. 
  3. Ipsos interviewed a representative sample of 1,011 aged 18+ across Great Britain. Interviews were conducted by telephone between 17th- 19th Apr 2009. Data are weighted to match the profile of the population.
  4. Ipsos interviewed a representative sample of 996 aged 18+ across Great Britain. Interviews were conducted by telephone between 16th- 18th Oct 2009. Data are weighted to match the profile of the population.
