Accessible UX Workshop: Creating Inclusive Products and Experiences
Accessible UX is good UX. Solving accessibility design problems ultimately generates the best products and experiences for everyone. Join us for an interactive workshop where we will discuss how you can start (or continue) to integrate accessibility into your research and design lifecycle, and ultimately, grow your market by serving all users, regardless of ability.
In this 2-hour workshop hosted at our Ipsos San Francisco office, you will collaborate with colleagues from across industries to learn more about how to create inclusive products that meet the needs of diverse users. In our time together, you will reflect on your own team’s current ways of working, research practices, and design processes to identify ways—big and small—that you might be able to better integrate accessible UX into your workstreams.
Topics we’ll cover include:
- The rising importance of accessibility
- Defining accessible UX and its benefits
- Shifting Left as an organization - identifying potential barriers to integrating accessibility into your design process
- Best practices for conducting research with different user groups within this community
From this workshop you will walk away with:
- A toolkit on how to get your organization to buy into doing more accessible and inclusive research
- A toolkit of best practices around conducting qualitative UX research with different user groups and the assistive technology they use
We're excited for you to discover new and inspiring ways to weave accessibility and inclusivity into your design process. Plus, you'll connect with a community of like-minded professionals who share your passion!
