ARF Future-Proofing the Analytics and Insights Function

We’ve heard a lot about generative AI in the past year, but what impact will it really have on the future of the insights and data analytics workforce?

The Analytics Council’s Organizational Working Group conducted anonymous interviews with senior ARF members on the future of the insights and data analytics functions, covering issues such as: how knowledge-gathering has changed since the pandemic, factors that determine the success of a team, how teams’ focuses and processes are evolving and more. Ipsos’ Shelley Yang will join a panel discussion exploring what was learned, and:

  • Ideas about which skills will be considered valuable
  • Knowledge about the kinds of methods and processes managers should consider moving forward
  • Points of view about the future of the field from a wide spectrum of perspectives across ARF’s constituencies – research vendors, agencies, and advertisers.
  • A sense of what their department might look like in 5 or 10 years with respect to how processes are managed.
