Telling the Truth in a Post-Truth World 

In an era of information overload, conflicting narratives, and growing mistrust, this workshop led by Ipsos’ Anna Dougan explores how we can better navigate data, challenge our own confirmation biases, and engage thoughtfully with perspectives that differ from our own. Participants will learn how to critically assess information, ask better questions of data, and recognize how assumptions and echo chambers shape what we believe to be true. At the same time, the session invites a more hopeful insight: despite the noise, the vast majority of people around the world share common values and aspirations. By grounding truth in curiosity, inclusion, and critical thinking, this workshop creates space for more honest dialogue, deeper understanding, and connection in a complex world.
