Americans see a bright summer ahead

Our latest Thought Starter checks to see by how much our travel plans expect to heat up this summer.

According to a recent Ipsos U.S. Omnibus survey, 47% of Americans plan to go away on vacation this summer. Millennials are even more likely to have travel planned.

And while not everyone is planning a getaway, Americans are definitely planning to say active visiting with family/friends (65%), day trips (48%), and going to the beach/lake (44%) rounding out the top 3.
