Ipsos in Korea joins CSR movement

Ipsos plans to continue to serve the community and make a difference.

Ipsos in Korea decided to actively promote and participate in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme in 2017, in which colleagues will focus on efforts to reduce environmental impact as well as the needs of the community. In April, Ipsos in Korea colleagues were asked to vote on an organisation they would be interested in working with for the year, and Busrugy Love Sharing Community was unanimously chosen. Through Busrugy, the Korea office will continue to participate in volunteer activities with a local, after school community center for children that is located in a low-income neighborhood. The center supports and cares for underprivileged elementary school children, and the employees will continue to work with the organisation on a quarterly basis throughout 2017.

In April, Ipsos in Korea completed its first service activity and donated 48 snack boxes to 30 children holding scholarships at Busrugy and 18 children at Ongdalsem Local Children’s Community Center. On May 31st, colleagues will participate in spending time doing fun activities with the children at the center. Tentative plans are also in the making, which include a cultural field trip activity in September and an outside, after school activity in December. The Korea office is working diligently to promote the CSR program, while gaining significant interest and participation from colleagues.
