Parties supporting President Emmanuel Macron will hold an overwhelming majority of 350 seats (out of 577), the conservative Les Républicains party and their allies will be the main opposition group with 136 seats. The Socialist Party, which controlled the last parliament, will have 45 deputies together with their allies. The far left, made up of the Communist Party and France Unbowed (led by former Presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon) will have 27 seats. And finally, the far-right National Front, with only 8 seats, failed to reach the 15-seat threshold needed to form a parliamentary group.
