Taking Responsibility - Dutch Team Runs for Charity
Members of Ipsos team participated in the Amsterdam Zuidas Run, a business run with 2.500 contestants from over 250 companies, in the Battle of Professions.
Although the Financials won the Battle, we as the Market Researchers also feel like winners! Our fastest colleague Jemal was actually the 11th male finisher of the contest! Besides the Battle of Professions theme, focus of the Zuidas run was also on charity: over € 13.000 was raised for children's cancer research.
Participating in this contest brought team members a lot of joy, bonding, challenge and energy with a clear joint goal. We are proud that they all finished within 40 minutes (the distance was 4 miles = 6,4 km), and they are already planning to participate in a new contest later this year. We hope they inspire more colleagues to undertake such activities together!
Richard Silman, Head of the Ipsos CSR programme, says: "This is another wonderful example of what our teams are doing across the world which allows Ipsos locally to support over 160 charities with fund raising and volunteering , and is a very important addition to the work of the Ipsos Foundation."
