Taking Responsibility - i-Say Mobilises to Provide Hurricane Relief and Fight Breast Cancer!
After hurricanes Harvey, Maria and Irma struck the U.S. mainland and its territories within only four weeks of each other, the i-Say incentives team quickly launched a campaign to provide relief to the hurricane victims. Within just days of the first hurricane, the i-Say team gave panelists in the U.S. the option to redeem their i-Say points for a $10 donation to the American Red Cross, which provides shelter and emergency supplies, including food, water and health services to disaster victims. All of the amount raised will go towards the ongoing relief efforts in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the i-Say incentives team has once again launched a campaign to fight this disease, which is responsible for more than 40,000 deaths in the U.S. every year. This year, i-Say has again partnered with these organisations to launch the Race for Life, which parallels the long, ongoing fight against breast cancer to a long-distance race. Panelists in North America can join this race by redeeming their i-Say points for a $5 or $10 donation to support breast cancer awareness and research.
This month-long charity campaign is using social media posts, polls, emails, a newsletter article and website banners to spread the word to panelists. On top of that, the team is leveraging relevant statistics to drive home the dire impact of breast cancer and encourage panelists to help surpass last year’s donation total.
